From: Gustaaf Van Moorsel <gvanmoor at aoc.nrao.edu>
Subject: Scottish
I am not really familiar with Scottish dialects, but was intrigued
by the language in "Sweet Sixteen", a deeply impressive Scottish
movie set I believe in Gourock in the Clyde valley. To my untrained
ears it sounded unlike any dialect I heard before. Can someone en-
lighten me on where it fits? It sounded different from what I've
heard of Glasgow dialects, though Glasgow cannot be more than 30
miles to the East.
Thanks,
Gustaaf
