What's with the Frisian?

Henry (above):

(I love your up-to-date idiomatic command of English! My compliments!)
Well, Henry, as if that wasn't clear! Do I need to spell it out for you
then? Righto then!
(1) I had to find a face-saving way of justifying why I had written
"Sinteklaas" instead of "Sinterklaas." I thought that posing as a Frisian
might do the trick, since it's "Sinteklaas" in Westerlauwer ("West")
Frisian.
(2) It was a chance to ring the Frisian bell on this list, albeit ineptly.*
It's being rung way too rarely, and I fear our poor Henno's arms are getting
tired being the only ringer around here. (Whenever I ring such bells I do
so in part to remind people that they are ringing them too rarely and that
it's all right to try your hands at writing in foreign languages. I hope
that my assumedly numerous errors will amuse and otherwise entertain the
more competent, will perhaps even trigger linguistic epiphanies.)
(3) I was just being myself (two of my domestic nicknames being "parrot
head" and "Buttje" -- but that's only for you and me to know, Henry). Also
remember that I have to live up to the reputation of my vulpine namesake
Reynard,** and he was a bit of a naughty boy, as you probably know.
Groete,
Reinhard/Ron
* Henno kindly and politely sent me corrections via private mail. Thanks,
Henno! Here a shot at a correct version:
Ja, bêste freon, miskien yn't Hollândsk. Wy Friezen neame de leave âldman
"Sinteklaas".
Ah! Dit is maklik te ferjitten. In Dútslân is it op de sechde (meidat wy der
ferduldiger binne).
** I just found confirmation of my name being derived from Old Saxon
Reginhard.
