Wel, 'n ou kennis se standaarde antwoord of optrede as hy met enige false
fynheid of 'kultuurneigings' gekonfronteer is is geneig om prontuit te vra,
"What's that? Can you eat it?"
Ja, well, you bet I can eat Halva, or marzipan!
    To all the oththers, Hi! our Kerstradiesies included moulding little
marzipan fruit; oranges, lemons, peaches, plums & bananas, colouring them
with food dye and pressing cloves into the tops for stingels. The bananas
were furnished with cocoa stain bruises, looking most realistic. these are
the only bruised bananas I will eat to this day.
    But oh! can you conceive of Marzipan being stored next to Gorgonzola,
Bloukraans & Weislakker?
