Beste Ron:

    Cut & Paste! Wat is dit? Betreffende die rekenaar is ek, soos die Jode
dit stel, 'n kind wat nie eers weet om te vra nie. Maar ek wil liewers nie
hierdie mooi bron belemmer met tegniese probleme nie. Ja-nee, taaaale...

    Met die waarskuwing dat ek geensinsins die nodige kennis dra, sal ek met
alle graagte met belangstellendes in en oor Afrikaans skryf. Ons sal
ongetwyfeld saam leer. Even if you are not easy speaking the tongue yet, I
will willingly swop phrases with you.

    Ennnnn, wat my betref, wil ek so graag in die selfde wyse met Skotte in
hulle Inglis, oftewel Skots, oftewel Lallands leer skryf en praat. Scots,
wil ye no' wi' this Sassenach skellum in yer ein laun' krack?

Okee, okee!  Ek sal ophou om jou met so 'n hi-tech-pratery te belaai.  Maar
miskien kan jy dit gevolglik skryf: "e^".

"Skellum"?  Ma certies!  Like eneuch.  "Sassenach"?  I swither tae gree.
Hmmm ... mebbe, conseederin yer an ma common Saxon ("pre-Sassunach"?) ruits.
But whitna craitur is a "laun'"?

Sae ye will hing tae ma curn o Scots learners (the noo wi juist ae member)
wha fash an bather, aiblins whiles entertein, oor lief Scots pals wi unkent,
queerie kynds o Scots?
