I think that the biggest danger is that it may be mortifyingly embarrassing.
It doesn't hurt you that this foreigner doesn't know squat about what he's
written on his T-shirt - or his body.

But if you turn it round, and view the Far-Oriental's efforts at T-shirt
slogans & the like, you'll understand better what a risk you're taking with
his symbols.

Consider some of my culling, from T-shirts out of Taiwan, I think:
"Mister Lucky Fantastic", "For An Active Life Inside Myself" , & "I Tie Die"
And He has a better understanding of our culture, in the main than we have
of his.
And by all means read an instruction manual or warning label for a product
coming out of China, Korea or even Hungary.

There was this fellow with a turtle-shell T-shirt that really drew drew the
attention of a party of Chinese, I think. they were however too polite to
make an issue of it, but the kids found it hysterical.
