Well, sorry, but my unlimited knowledge happened to be limited to the German
term...
By the way, "Götterdämmerung" is exactly the same as "twilight of the gods",
no?

What was the original term, then, and in what language?

It's easy to pretend "unlimited knowledge" on a forum like this, just as
long as you stick to the subjects where you happen to know some tidbits that
you can throw in - expertly worded - once in a while, and shut up about the
ones where you have no idea. There IS a reason I never chime in when it
comes to phonetics... ;-)

Anyway, my omniscient reputation has been sadly tarnished when I was foolish
enough to ask that "varsity" question, so everybody already knows that
unlike the Rooster, the Moose is only human.
