I would like to add a few words from East-Brabant and West-Limburg/

Dutch 'bord': tluër < French tailloir
Dutch 'lepel': leper (with dissimilation)
Dutch 'vork': verket < French fourchette

ik wull giern weten, wat de Plattdüütschen seggen don för hd.

"Technik". De miersten seggen woll ok "Technik". Is de Utsprak liek to de
hoogdüütsche, or kunn dat ok wäsen, dat de Spräkdruck
(Betonung/stress) up'e
leste Sülv' is so as in nl. (nedderlandsch) "techniek" or sw. (sweedsch)
"teknik"? Gifft dat ok Lüd', wat /'teknik/ (/tek'ni:k/) un nich /'tec,nik/
(/tec,'ni:k/) seggen don? Woans süt dat ut mit Wüürd' as "Grammatik,
Linguistik" un anner up -(t)ik, is de Spräkdruck jümmers so as in't
Hoogdüütsche or kunn de ok up    -(t)ik liggen?
