In the LS of my child times farmers still used to address their male
employees (just them, as far as I know, not the female ones) in the 3d
person singular: 'Hey schall nu de Peer anspannen', G: 'Spann er nun die
Pferde an', E: 'He shall harness the horses'.
They would never call them by their name. As you may see, just the opposite
background than in your above.
This is not forgotten today, but of course no longer in use because of the
changes in social structures.
