Subject: LL-L "Idiomatica" 2005.05.03 (02) [A/E]

In het moderne Nederlands zou dat zijn: "Alles zal terecht komen mits
iedereen zijn plicht doet", maar misschien komt die uitdrukking uit
zeventiende eeuwse bijbeltaal of zo? Het eerste deel "alles sal reg kom"
is geen Nederlands, <reg> in plaats van <recht> en <kom> ipv <komen>, en
ook <sal> ipv <zal> is typisch Afrikaans, toch?

In elk geval, Nederlanders kennen alleen het eerste stukje, dus "alles sal
reg kom" en dat betekent gewoon "everything is gonna be alright", en zijn
ervan overtuigd dat het Afrikaans is.
