Ja, das war nicht so schlau vom Ed, und es ist auch total irrelevant, weil
Deutsche und Spanier doch nie Feinde gewesen sind...
Es sagt nur dass viele Leute noch immer nur an den (am?) Krieg denken wenn
es um Deutschland geht, und alle Deutsche automatisch als "Nazis"
bezeichnen. Das passiert leider auch hier in der Niederlände, und sicher
auch in der englischsprachigen Welt.

Yes, that wasn't very smart of Ed, and it's is totally irrelevant, too,
because Germans and Spanics never were enemies.
It says just that many people still think of the war whenever it's about
Germany, and the see all Germans automatically as "Nazis".
Unfortunately this also happens in the Netherlands, and especially in the
English speaking world.
