Hi all,
Thanks, Gabriele, I fully agree with your "klip in die bos".
My youngest daughter is restoring a '58 Chev Biscayne
and my eldest is a smart mother and successful employee.
Any attempt at labelling them would be misleading.
I suspect the less women protest and the more we achieve
in our own right, the further we'll get.
Regards,
Elsie Zinsser
>all focus on a traditional woman's role as a mother
>and/or wife, which seems a bit... well, counterproductive.

I can only really speak for myself, but I guess many of my Lowlands
brothers
stand behind me when I wish all of you women on our List all the very best
on International Women's Day, March 8, 2005, and when I tell you that I
appreciate, honor and, yes, love you all.
Thank you, Ron. It is indeed a day that goes largely unnoticed, but there
are many such. Children's day, grandparent's day. Better if we all could
manage somehow to respect and revere each other on a daily basis, no?
I wish today for every child, girl and boy, to have a full belly, hear no
guns, and mother and father close by to reassure. It is a woman's wish
immemorial. May it some day be granted.

Thank you, dear Marsha, for your kind and poignant words.
> It is a woman's wish immemorial.
Believe me! It's been many a man's wish too, though many of us haven't
mustered the ultimate courage: that of professing this wish and living by it
despite pressures to do otherwise.
I was good hearing from you, Marsha.
Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
