Perhaps we could compile a list of proto-Lowlandic cuisine if we are able to
identify cognate cooking methods, foods and dishes?
I know I have made mention of "Lowlandic / Celtic" cuisine before, but there
are important differences between the two, albeit alongside a strong area of
overlap caused by similar environments, contact and the basic fact that all
cooking is very similar. It would be interesting to see what
"proto-Lowlandic" cuisine was.
