Subject: Traditions

Dear Lowlanders,

With Halloween just around the corner (on Monday), I am sure many of you are 
wondering how to adequately frighten friends, relatives, significant others 
and ... particularly ... children and how to do so in a way befitting your 
lofty status as Lowlanders.  Oh, search no longer!  There's always my 
perennial offering of spooky Low Saxon poems with English translations at

While there is no new offering this year, the following two poems may be new 
to several of you, and others might enjoy them reheated:
