Dear Lowlanders, szczególnie nasi przyjaciele w Polsce,

I've taken it upon myself to do some editing of the article about Low Saxon 
in the Polish edition of Wikipedia (http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/), because, 
albeit on the right track, it lacked some vital information.  In particular, 
I edited the introductory paragraph to add the following facts, besides 
clarification of the language names and completion of the names of German 
states in which LS is used:

* LS is also used in the northeastern parts of the Netherlands.
* LS used to be used in Northern Poland and in areas farther east.
* LS influences are particularly strong in Kashubian, Estonian and
  Scandinavian, although traditionally they have been referred to as
  "German."
* Mennonites use a LS dialect that began around the Vistula Delta
  (Northern Poland).

I had been particularly perturbed by the absence of references to Poland.

Anyway, my Polish being not exactly up to snuff, I wonder if any of you 
would be so kind as to edit my paragraph for grammar and style.  You may 
send it to my address.  Also, please take a look at the table at the bottom 
of the article, which I edited as well.

*Język dolnosaksoński* (_Neddersassisch_; w języku holandskim: 
_Nedersaksisch_; w języku niemeckim: _Niedersächsisch_) jest określany także 
jako *dolnosaksoński*, dawniej "język dolnoniemiecki" (w języku niemeckim: 
_Plattdeutsch_, _Niederdeutsch_; w języku holandskim: _Platduits_, 
_Nederduits_, w języku dolnosaksońskim: _Plattdüütsch_, _Nedderdüütsch_). 
Wywodzi się z języka starosaksońskiego. Językiem dolnosaksońskim posługują 
się mieszkańcy Niemiec północnych (landy – Dolna Saksonia, 
Szlezwik-Holsztyn, Brema, Hamburg, Nadrenia Północna-Westfalia, 
Meklemburgia-Pomorze Przednie, Saksonia-Anhalt, Brandenburgia), oprócz tego 
w prowincjach północno-wschodnich Niderlandów (Holandii). Przed koniec 
drugiej wojny światowej był język dolnosaksoński także omawiany w Polska 
północnym i w warstwa dalej wschód. Większa część zapożycenia "niemieckie" w 
języku kaszubskim, w języku estońskim i w językach skandynawskich faktycznie 
nie byli wzięti od języka niemieckiego ale od języka dolnosaksońskiego. 
Mennonici, który teraz mieszkają w wielu częściach świata, mówią dialekt 
dolnosaksoński (_Plautdietsch_), która używał być omawiany w Polsce, wokół 
ujściena wiślańskiego.
