Beste Lowlanders,
goede vriend Ron,
In het Oostends, West-Vlaams dus, kennen wij het woord "léndesjhot" of
"léndesjheute" voor een helse rugpijn, wat vergelijkbaar met spit of
lumbago! Maar je mag natuurlijk ook zeggen: "zair an je rik" (pijn aan je
rug).
Ik haast mij om te melden dat mijn stad, Oostende, ook een afwijkende naam
kent voor "wren" of winterkoninkje, namelijk: "pietekeuntsje" ("piet" slaat
op klein, "keuntsje" is konijntje).
Toetnoasteki én vele gluk!

Dat kan 'n vun de Neddersassische syd' in Duytschland ook verstaan ("seyr an/in

kryg'.  ;-)
