daughter, who turned 13 yesterday. So maybe SHE is your long-lost twin, not

Beste Ron,
op mijn beurt felicitaties.
Mag ik even dit:
1. het beloofde "Oostends Woordenboek" wordt jou opgezonden.
2. Als men bij ons een jarige vraagt "hoe oed zie je gie?" (hoe oud ben je?)
dan wordt er na het horen van dez leeftijd gezegd: "'t en is ginain zwien
die zoe oed wordt!" (er is geen enkel varken dat zo oud wordt!).
Ook dit vind ik mooi: "os ter ain lange leeft, 't is osan en oedn!" (als er
iemand lang leeft is hij altijd een oudere persoon.
"En os je nie waild oed wordn, tonne moe je joenk versmoorn!" (als je niet
oud wilt worden, moet je je op jeugdige leeftijd gaan verdrinken).
Bijzonder veel ieve groeten en "toetnoasteki"!
