I could learn how native speakers work with their mouthes and noses and 
such...

Ingmar, ya got it! That's exactly what I naturally do. That is how I learned 
to do the famous clicks in Zulu. I got a Ladysmith Black Mambazo CD for 
Christmas some years ago, and they kept saying this weird sound that I 
couldn't pronounce. Believe me! If a sound screws me up, it's not on the 
beaten paths of phonology! It ended up being the alveolar click (c in Zulu 
orthography). I had never heard that sound used in language, and I literally 
discovered how to make it in the shower one morning as I got ready for 
school.

Als wij het moeilijk hebben om een andere (streek)taal te gebruiken, dan
zeggen wij: die moend en wailt azo nie droajn (de mond wil zo niet draaien).
Tussen haakjes: om Engels te kunnen spreken: moe je e warme petatte in je
moend steekn.
