Ik ben Rikus niet, maar ik heb wel enkele opmerkingen:

1) Twente wordt ter plaatse vaak als Tweante geschreven (alhoewel ik 
vind dat dat nergens voor nodig is), het dialect als Tweants.

2) Hellendoorn, Nijverdal en Holten maken tegenwoordig dan wel deel uit 
van de kaderwetregio (of weet ik hoe dat heet) Twente, maar dat wil nog 
niet zeggen dat ze ook Twents spreken. Daar wordt nog steeds Sallands 
gesproken. Het Twents houdt op bij Rijssen en Markelo.
