Tanks to the east front:

Oranjetank valt Duitsland binnen

De Duitse politie heeft tussen Emmerich en Wesel een oranje tank
van de weg gehaald. De tank werd bestuurd door de artiesten Wim
Holsappel en Willem Alkema uit Zwolle. Ze wilden met de tank naar
Neurenberg rijden, waar het Nederlands elftal zondag een WK-
wedstrijd speelt. Ze hadden naar verluidt oud-international Willy
van de Kerkhof bij zich, omdat ze vinden dat het huidige oranje-
elftal te weinig aanvallend speelt op het middenveld. De Duitse
politie kon de stunt wel waarderen, maar vreesde dat de tank te
veel oponthoud in het verkeer zou veroorzaken.
