There is. Open an account with a free mail service. Yahoo, for example.
Yes you will have an extra mailbox to check, but you'll get used to it.
I have seven boxes around the world; the bad news is that it takes time
to check them all in the morning; the good news is that at least two are
always operational in any jurisdiction.

One practical wisdom--apocryphically attributed to Bill Gates:
Turn the thing off, then turn it on again. Your glitch normally goes.
Try the reverse: activate the filter;
send out more Administrativia; then disable it again.
Feel the difference.

Thanks for those pearls of wisdom, o Vlad, wise voice from the east. Yes, I like
those low-tech solutions, but in this case they won't cut the mustard.
I just initiated the account lowlands at lowlands-l.net (without the first "-l"),
and so far so good. Let's see. The SPAM thing is yet another matter. The tech
help people seem not too competent, but I have our Henry whose caliber is far
superior and who will do some magic once some urgent stuff in his life is out of
the way.
Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
