Hey, Lowlanders!
Here's some more "pestering" about our online gallery (
lowlands-l.net/gallery/).
If you thought that it was only for airy-fairy arteeestic stuff, well ...
think again!
Our Pat Reynolds has joined the club of exhibitors, and with her informative
article she illustrates very nicely that non-fiction prose is just fine.
Thanks, Pat!
And it doesn't necessarily have to be written material either. Drawings,
paintings, sculptures (photographed), floorplans, photographs, photographic
essays, collections of place names or personal names, personal or family
history, memorial presentations, music collection (sheet or sound), building
instructions, gardening goodies, cooking or baking recipes, multimedia
presentations ... You name it! Let your imagination run rampant, as long as
it's under the very general theme "My Lowlands"! And if you do use words,
use any language you wish.
Oh, and reviews of books, dictionaries, movies, etc., would also be very
appropriate.
By the way, in my offering there are translations of a 19th-century Japanese
haiku about a Dutch ship:
lowlands-l.net/gallery/hahn_haiku-translated.php
I'd appreciate corrections/suggestions for those translations.
So, get to work, you lot!
Reinhard/Ron
