" there are 30 copies listed for sail "

I cannot believe I wrote that!

But it is a good example of something we have discussed on another forum,
about the growing tendency some poeple have noticed towards making such
errors when typing on a computer. It was never noticed by the same writers
when using a typewriter but was admitted ( confessed to?) by a number of
keen contributors, all of whom have been involved in IT for many years and
should have no excuse for not typing accurately.

Has anyone on this forum noticed themselves automatically typing one homonym
for another?

And just to prove I am not losing my marbles : copies of the book are for
sale

Heather, you loose your marbles?! Never!

We all no what you meant, and probably everyone hear has bin "guilty" of
this at won time or another, many of us more times than we care to count.

Those are the wanders and tribulations of English spelling.

Sum wood say, "Their they are, the chickens coming home to roost and biting
us in the behind two." But of course, I wouldn't.
