Strange that the numerous Dutch twisted swearwords haven't been posted
yet... As far as I know, the dialect here doesn't have any, since the people
speaking dialect usually are of the social class that don't mind shocking
other people with swearing. I can only imagine 'potverdikke' in a dialect
context. In the standard language there are plenty.
Traditional/older ones are often variations on 'godverdomme': potverdikke,
potverdorie, potver, potvolkoffie, potverdriedubbeltjes, godver,
gadver/gadverdamme, godverbiedthetvloeken,...
nearly any combination with pot/god/gad + ver/vol + other word is possible;)
I know a person that says 'gadverderrie' all the time, but that's the only
person I ever heard saying it.
Some, like 'gadver' (used only in the NL), aren't used in the original
context anymore, 'gadver' f.ex. is a substitute for 'eik(es)', 'bah',
eikebah', expressing disgust, where 'godverdomme' isn't used in the same
way.
Of more recent date (those I only heard in the Netherlands): 'curry' for the
very popular 'kut', and 'chips' for 'shit'.
