Na, dat's ja mol wat nejet! Kuemmt vlich no jues to rechte tid bevoer de
luet woerkli "Wasbekk" un "Brokkstett" segg un ni meer "Wasbeek" un
"Brookste' ". Aver foer de spraak is dat wul doch to laat, denn snack ward
uns spraak doch ni meer vun de joengere generation, oder se ik dat verkeert?
Likers schall dat doch no een beten een erinnerung wen dat froeher de luet
garkeen hochduetsch snack hebb in Sleswig-Holsten. Beter no schull wen, wenn
all de doerpen un steden in nordduetschland konsequent alleen eer
nedersassischen naams kregen, een naam is doch man blots een naam, vaaken
weet wi doch all lang ni meer wat dat beduet, waroem heet Gnutz "Gnutz" un
Hohn "Hohn"? Kuemmt "Buedelsdorf" nu vun "buettels-doerp" oder vun dat
daensche "by-dels-torv"? Ik wuess dat ok ni.
