Subject: Well-wishes

On behalf of all Lowlanders I express concern for the well-being of our
Lowlanders and their friends and family in the flood-affected parts of
England and Wales.  I believe we have at least a couple of them in and
around Sheffield, where things have been particularly bad.

Having been through a massive flood catastrophe myself, as have other
Lowlanders from and in Northern Germany, I can well imagine what is going on
in your lives right now, and my heart goes out to you.

It also reminds me of the generous aid we received from Britain when we were
in that situation.

Hoping you and yours are safe, even if inconvenienced.
