Matt Groening, creator of the Simpsons probably would create a Plautdietsch
character. Actually Homer Simpson is a Plautdietsch German, in a way. Read
about it on English Wikipedia:

"... Many younger Russian Mennonites in Canada and the United States today
speak only English. For example, Homer Groening, the father of Matt Groening
(creator of The Simpsons), spoke Plautdietsch as a child in Saskatchewan in
the 1920s, but his son Matt never learned the language. ..."

And about the characters in the series:

"Groening famously named the main Simpson characters after members of his
own family: his parents, Homer and Margaret (Marge or Majorie in full), and

too obvious to name a character after himself, he chose the name "Bart," an
anagram of brat. However, he stresses that aside from some of the sibling
rivalry, his family is nothing like the Simpsons. ..."

So I wonder if a Plautdietsch speaking character didn't already appear on
the series.
