Actually, I'd be quite flattered to be considered "outer" anything, i.e. not
part of the central fold. Mongolian offense at being regarded as Outer
reflects a prejuduce in its own way just as intolerant.

Paul,

It's the *distinction* (i.e. partition) that is essentially offensive from a
Mongolian point of view, while "Northern" and "Southern" do not imply a
boundary.
