Subject: LL-L "Member News"

Just a short note to all to let anyone concerned know that i am safe and
sound.

I am, most luckily, NOT in Bombay right now ... but rather in Japan
chasing the elusive visa to return to work in Bombay. For ONCE i thank
the Government of India for their irrational and inflexible
bureaucracy (and the last government of the British Raj for writing
the very xenophobic Foreigners' Act of 1946 which still governs my
status in India).
