Just to mention I'm back home from Mumbai.
My portable crashed shortly after I sent my "Travels" impression from the
Renaissance in Powai.
Considering the actual situation I will wait with reporting about what I
experienced as other curiosities.
I was in the affected area on Monday.
Did some bookshopping in the Oxford Bookstore South of Churchgate,
as well as at a tax bookstore (International Bookhouse), hard to find on the
sixth floor at Homi Modi street in the Banking District
and I had lunch at Cafe Mondagar in the same area.
After the Renaissance I have been staying in the Orchid in Vile Parle, close
to the Domestic Airport.
My major fears were the potentiality of a strike at Jet Airways, since the
personnel got a paycut announced.
I was there for 2 conferences, but I toke a Tourist Visum, since this was
cheaper and not linked to certification by local contacts.
Regards,
Roger
