Beste mensen,

Ook allemaal een gelukkig nieuw jaar gewenst van mij!

Misschien interessant in de discussie rond Vlaams "noste" en "nostra"
is dat in het Frans-Vlaams, dus het Nederlandse dialect uit Noord-West-
Frankrijk, een N wordt voorgevoegd in "nuus" = ons, normaal West-
Vlaams "uus". De invloed van Frans "nous" lijkt duidelijk.

To all of you a Happy New Year from me as well.

Maybe interesting in the discussion about Flemish "noste" and
Latin "nostra" is that in French Flemish, i.e. the Dutch dialect in North
Western France, normal West-Flemish "uus" = us has gotten an N before it,
so becoming "nuus". Influence of French "nous" seems obvious.

Thanks for the correction. You sent me gold. I *thought* that was 'our'
from the Latin 'nostra'.
