Dear Lowlanners,

today I found this link:

It deals with American history at the time when becoming independend from
Britain, written down in recently discovered letters of German mercenary
soldiers having served in the British Army (the greater part of them came
from Hesse).

"Durch eine DFG-geförderte Edition wird dieser Quellenfund ab Mitte 2010 der
Forschung zugänglich gemacht und für die Zukunft gesichert werden."

So it's not available yet, but even their description may be interesting and
makes me curious.
