Subject: LL-L "Etymology" 2009.11.22 (04) [EN]
Tiffany ultimately comes from the Greek âTheophaniaâ (meaning ârevelation of
Godâ). Its current popularity most likely has to do with Tiffany & Co., the
jewelry company (especially starting in the 1960s after the movie âBreakfast
at Tiffanyâsâ came out). Iâm sure âTiffanieâ is just a creative way to
spell it dreamed up by her parents.
