Ik sülvs kann nich veel bidragen to dat Thema, aver ik kann jo seggen, wo
dat ganz gewiss wat to finnen gifft: In de "Hydronomia Germaniae". De
Hydronomia Germaniae sammelt Infos över "Gewässernamen". Also to'n Bispeel
den Naam von'n Stroom in de öllsten Oorkunnen, wat to de Etymologie etc.

In dat Book "Land an der Maurine: Gereimtes und Ungereimtes" von Wilhelm
Bade kummt de Naam op Plattdüütsch as "Maurin" vör (Sied 31). Op Sied 39
kummt de Naam "Morien Mühle" vör, ut en hoochdüütsche Oorkunn von 1753.
Disse Möhl heet hüdigendaags op Hoochdüütsch "Maurinmühle". De Naam von 1753
düüdt dor op hen, dat Hanne ehr "Marien" richtiger is as dat "Maurin" op
Sied 31.

Un noch en korten Bidrag to de "Maurine": In "Beiträge zur Namenforschung,
Band 15" steiht op Sied 171: "Zum Stamm /more/ gehört wohl auch der GN
/Maurine/, Kreis Schönberg, Nebenfluß der Stepenitz, älter" (un denn is de
Utsnidd bi Google Böker toenn). De slaawsche Stamm /more /bedüüdt "Moor,
Meer" un kummt ok in dat Woord "Pommern" vör (/po more /= am Meer). De twete
Deel von'n Naam is denn dat Suffix '-ina', dat woll fakener in de Naams von
Strööm un Beken vörkummt (seggt dat Book "Bohemia: Jahrbuch des Collegium
Carolinum, Band 17", Sied 327). Ut "Morina" is denn toeerst "Morine" worrn
(unbetoonte Ennvokaals warrt all to 'e'), denn "Morien" (e-Apokoop) un denn
"Marien" (desülve Luudwannel as in "boven" -> "baven").

De Form, wat Hanne seggt hett, de stimmt also wohrschienlich. Von de
Luudgesetten passt dat.
