Dear Lowlanders,



Please let me remind you that our 15th anniversary is fast approaching and
that our anniversary month lasts from April 15 till May 15.



Our anniversary pages, our by far most visited and linked-to pages,
therefore beg for renewed attention.

While their primary purpose is to showcase Lowlands language varieties, they
are also meant to celebrate language diversity in general.



New versions in any language variety (mentionable or unmentionable) are
always more than welcome, as are audio and video files of new and existing
versions. Also welcome are additional members’ introductions (

Kudos to our own Jean-Luc Detilleux for facilitating the latest version: one
in Lorraine Frankish, a West Central German dialect group of France that is
closely related to Saarland Frankish (in which we have a version provided by
our own Larry Granberg). Jean-Luc gets a whopping kudos because, in the true
spirit of it, he took advantage of a new contact at a meeting by shmoozing a
gentleman from Lorrain into contributing a version in his dialect. (The
