Funny thing about that really.  Back in the mid-sixties the global
population was around 3.5 billion, and China's was put at around 600
million.  Today the world has near enough 7 billion, and China an estimated
1.2 billiion. On that basis, they might as well not have bothered. I suspect
somebody isn't telling us something, somewhere.
