Hanne, I think Ron meant: nobody joined the triple L (lowlands
linguists'list) in September, and not that we didn't congratulate him for
Rosh Hashana. But let's say: Shana Tova, and a sweet year like the apple
with honey!

Dat is dien gaudet Recht. Nu is mi jüst ein Licht upgahn.  Ick heff wieldess
in'n "Jewish Holiday Calender 5772" käken un mien Respekt för dissen Fierdag
wier so grot, dat ick mi ein Gratelatschon nich trugt heff. Liekers, ick
müßt' väl an di denken un so will ick hapen, dat du mi un woll ok all'
Lowlanners vergäwen deist. (Un ick Doemlack heff ümmer dacht', du künnst
womoeglich nich up denn' Posten sien.)
So will ick hapen un wünschen, dat dat taukamen Johr di Gesundheit, väl
Freud, Kraasch un ümmer wedder Fründschaft mit uns alltohopen schenkt.
