oops, I might should've edited the recipient box after clicking
"forward"... of COURSE, you all saw this, as it was posted here ;-)

... though you may NOT have followed the additional link, which as a
Soviet-era Russianologist of sorts I found quite humourous... although
of course, having NOTHING to do with the Lowlands

PS the "might should've" construction above (along with many other
double modals) is a standard feature of Appalachian English... which,
although I have not a trace of Appalachian accent, IS a standard part
of MY personal English grammar as well.

And also of Scots, as an example from Ulster Scots shows:

Quhan we get, we micht cud hae a we drink forbae 'When we arrive, we
ma be able to have a drink as well' (Philip Robinson (1997) Ulster
Scots: A Grammar of the Traditional Written and Spoken language.
Ullans Press. p 174)
