Dear Pat,
Is there a list of Perthshire Cant words?
Best wishes,

Oekene
Dear all,
reading the different contributions to this very special topic, I do
remember a very similar -in sociologigal sense- language in Muenster/
Westphalia .
Language is called: *Masematte*
This dialect too, as Perthshire Cant was spoken by former outlaws. Now it
has lost its former purpose. Today it is used by the very locals just for
fun and pretending, mostly during the period of carneval.
See more: www.muenster.de/~nm2/masmatte.htm
or just Wikipeda
