Dear Lowlanders,
This is not my disciple;one. But a friend of mine, who used to live in
South Limburg
(a story in its own un-right), told me they spoke a language with a strain
Raeto-romanic
substrate. Details concerning place etc are unknown to me, but I’ll look
into van Ginniken.
Cordially,
Frank Polak,

This is fascinating! Is there any more information about these varieties
available?
Thanks,
Dan

This is what I heard beginning 0:12:
I was sitting by arse last evening, my mother and father were off, 'cause
they heard my old nob Suzanne was laid up in bed with a cough. She has some
brass has my old nob Suzanne, that's the reason she's looked after so, if
they've nought, well they're nought but a bother, there's a sample
(example) my old uncle George
