transciption is correct, but wrong devnagari "s" :
     मुष्क:   / मुष्कवत्
(according to Monier-Williams diminutive from मुष: "mouse")

 (usually though when speaking Sanskrit casually -- as opposed to
reciting it in the temple  -- we use the word for egg ;-)
