New Book

[Frances Karttunen]

This is to announce the publication of "Issues of Minority Peoples," a
volume of essays by Frances Karttunen, Alfred W. Crosby, Jan-Ola =D6stman,
Helena Halmari, and Diana ben-Aaron on the ethics of fieldwork, the current
threat to biodiversity and linguistic diversity, and case studies of the
intersection of language and ideology.

The editors of the volume are Frances Karttunen and Jan-ola =D6stman, and the
publisher is the Department of General Linguistics at the Unviersity of
Helsinki.
