I don't know how far this is within topic, but:-
On British TV there is running a program called Treasure Hunt. This
is a chase-around in a helicopter and on the ground following clues.
One episode was set in Mexico City. The participants were
English. Some of their attempts at pronouncing Nahuatl names
(Tlalpan, Quetzalcoatl, Teotihuacan, Xochimilco) were unbelievable.
Teotihuacan defeated the competitors completely and they spelt it
out every time or called it "The City of the Gods". Xochimilco
became "Zokkimilko". Tlalpan got away with merely an extra vowel
after the T.
