Q on Molina entry and ACH

To add my two cents before presenting my own quandary. . .I wonder if the
underlying verbal suffix wouldn't be -yauh, and then perhaps -ya in
preterite.
The historical progress of Nahuatl's vocabularly of leadership crossed my
mind again, and I wanted to ask if it is known if the stem -ACH (opposite
I guess of -IC) is known in other Uto-Aztecan languages or might be a
borrowing from a language prominent in Central Mexico before the spread of
Nahuatl.
