Guanaceví, Durango

A teacher from the state of Durango has asked me for the meaning and 
origin of the name of a municipality in that state: Guanaceví. For 
those listeros who can`t read accented characters, the last letter of 
the word is an accented "i". Any ideas on the language this word comes 
from?
