The examples culled from classical documents that Sullivan offers are simply
great.

The grammatical "intuitions" are often out in left field. It's probably an ok
book to start with, but approach it with a sprinkling of caution. Like I said,
I haven't seen anything better than Joe's and Fran's two-volume introductory,
at least in English.
