question about FUAC

Last week I received from the Nahuatl/list a call for
papers for the Friends of Uto-Aztecan Languages
Conference to be held in August. 

I wonder whether the congress is for linguists only or
whether anthropologists and people from other social
sciencies or humanities will also be attending. 

Is the FUAC the place to be when I'm doing research on
Huastecan Nahuatl oral tradition and would like to
participate and exchange ideas with specialists who
work on the relation between language and culture,
without being a specialist in linguistics?
