CALL FOR PAPERS
 
The Sorbonne Nouvelle University Graduate Symposium (SNUGLS) committee is proud to announce that the call for papers for the second edition of SNUGLS is open. We invite junior researchers (M2, doctoral students, and 1st year post-docs) to submit papers relating to various fields of linguistics. The conference language is English and presentations will be allotted 20 minutes. Among other topics, presentations might include:
 
- Language acquisition
- Language and the mind
- Multimodality
- Applied linguistics
- Methods of data collection
- Linguistic structure
- Discourse analysis
 
Since one of the major purposes of SNUGLS is to give junior researchers a chance to practise their presentation skills in English, discussion sessions will be organised during the day to provide friendly feedback to the participants.
 
Submission guidelines:
Email two copies of your 250-word abstract, with a title and 5 keywords, to snugls2011 at gmail.com. One copy should be anonymous while the other should include the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s). Deadline: February 15th, 2011.
Abstracts will be selected by a scientific committee composed of academic researchers, members of the SESYLIA team part of PRISMES (EA 4398), at Paris 3.
