Dear all,

We are proud to announce that LabPhon 14, the 14th Conference on Laboratory Phonology, will take place at the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics (NINJAL) from 25 to 27 July 2014. 

The overall theme for the conference is "Laboratory Phonology beyond the Laboratory: Quantitative Analyses of Speech Produced outside the Phonetics Laboratory". Special sessions will be held on:

-	fieldwork-based studies, particularly on endangered languages/dialects
-	corpus-based approaches to spontaneous speech
-	acquisition of L1 phonology/prosody

We are pleased to confirm the following guest speakers:

-	Yasuharu Den (Chiba University/NINJAL)
-	Carlos Gussenhoven (Radboud University Nijmegen)
-	Mark Hasegawa-Johnson (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
-	Reiko Mazuka (Duke University/RIKEN Brain Science Institute)
