Le Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle (CNRS, Université Paris Diderot) accueille le Pr. Massimo Poesio (University of Essex & University of Trento) comme professeur invité depuis le 22 mai et jusqu'au 13 juin.

Massimo Poesio donnera à cette occasion un petit cours qui aura lieu à la SALLE 136, Bat. Olympe de Gouges (rue Albert Einstein 75013, Paris):

Crowdsourcing (Anaphoric) Annotation

This series of lectures will cover human computation as applied to annotation, and in particular anaphoric annotation. Both approaches based on crowdsourcing proper and approaches based on games-with-a-purpose will be discussed. We will also discuss approaches to analyze the information thus collected. The provisional plan of lectures is as follows:

Lecture 1, mai 23 (10h00-12h00) : Introduction. Annotation in computational linguistics. 

Lecture 2, juin 5 (16h00-18h00) : Crowdsourcing.

Lecture 3, juin 12 (16h00-18h00) : Games-with-a-purpose. Phrase detectives.

Lecture 4, juin 13 (10h00-12h00) : Analyzing data collected via crowdsourcing.
