Phon can't see VLC

Hello again,
Hello again,
I've just sent this message but it doesn't show on the discussion
board, so I'm posting it again and hope you don't get a double
version.
First of all, thanks for your support. I finally had time today to try
to fight the problem - I've tried VLC 1.1.8 32 and 64, and also VLC
1.1.10 Intel 32, reinstalled Phon and VLC several times, restarted
repeatedly, but it still won't work. There was a tiny ray of hope with
VLC 1.1.10 Intel 32, when the message from Phon included information
that it did find the file but the file had wrong architecture
(although I admit I have no idea what that means.) Still, with 1.1.8
32 it didn't work. I've tried both my own videos and the demo.
So, for now, I'm working with audio files only and trying to get used
to Phon, which I'm liking a lot. But if you have any other suggestions
for what I could do to upload videos as well, I'd be very happy.
Best,
-Marta
